Created after the Margaret River bush fires of 2011, the Cape Enhancement project has seen at least seven new fire fighting vehicles distributed across the South West in time for summer.
"We've almost completed the project," area officer Andy Thompson said.
"This will add to the capabilities of the crew and provide further assistance for rural areas."
Mr Thompson said it was the second last vehicle to be rolled out, with one left to be distributed to Margaret River.
The 3.4 urban tanker will be of great assistance over the fire season with a great water supply and four wheel drive capabilities, meaning it will be able to access far more rural areas when it leaves it's home at the station according to volunteer firefighter captain Robert Papalia
Mr Papalia said it will be another element to add to the list of growing developments in Busselton, taking urban concepts to rural communities.
